Doom's Heat finally released their debut EP, Leashed By Agony, after an extraordinary 27-year wait, delivering a modern yet firmly old-school death metal record. Across its four original tracks, the band balances groove, melody, technical passages and aggressive riffing without sounding derivative. While drawing inspiration from classic Malaysian death metal and bands such as Riot and Pestilence, Doom's Heat establishes its own identity through tight musicianship, memorable songwriting and well-crafted guitar work.
