LOW FAT – Hello, My Slaves! (2014)

Formed in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2006, Low Fat are a hardcore punk band featuring Japanese and Thai musicians, developing a distinctive sound that combines the speed and aggression of Japanese hardcore with melodic guitar riffs, frantic rhythms and an energetic DIY attitude. Led by vocalist Shuichi Sano, the band established itself within Southeast Asia's underground punk circuit through explosive live performances and short, intense recordings. Released in 2014, Hello, My Slaves! is their fourth album, delivering 14 tracks in approximately 18 minutes of fast, unpredictable hardcore punk. Featuring songs such as "Krungthep", "Tanuki", "Start Monday", "Grandad Got His Gun", "Condom and Matchstick", "Say No, America" and the title track, the album combines rapid drumming, energetic bass lines, sharp guitar arrangements and Sano's distinctive shouted vocals. Despite the relentless pace, the music incorporates unexpected melodic passages, rhythmic variations and a playful sense of humour that distinguishes Low Fat from more conventional hardcore acts. Hello, My Slaves! captures the raw energy and creative spirit of Bangkok's underground punk scene, offering a spirited example of contemporary Asian hardcore that balances aggression, melody and musical unpredictability.

This is a pre-owned cassette. Unless stated otherwise, the tape has **not been fully play-tested or professionally cleaned**. Visual inspection shows the cassette and tape to be in generally acceptable condition and it appears playable, but due to the age and nature of used cassettes, playback quality cannot be guaranteed.

If the exposed tape strip appears dusty or dirty, it may require manual cleaning before playback. Experienced cassette collectors will generally be familiar with the appropriate cleaning methods and handling precautions for older tapes.

The case, shell, labels and inserts may show normal signs of age, storage and previous ownership. Please refer to the product photos for the actual condition.
